Jean-Marie Massaud‘s SeaX outdoor collection of tables and chairs for the German furniture brand Dedon has won the prestigious Wallpaper* magazine’s Wallpaper* Design Award 2012 under the Best Backyards category. The  winners were elected from a panel  of the finest minds in art, architecture, design and fashion. The French designer’s SeaX collection for Dedon represents elegance and modernity merged with Jean-Marie Massaud’s passion for details and innovative design. Massaud based on the design of a folding chair, which is lightweight, flexible and very complex. SeaX collection inspired by racing yachts participating in the America’s Cup. The collection is characterised by its use of unique weatherproof materials and innovation of the furniture manufacturer Dedon. Made out of cast aluminium, these minimalist designs are extremely unique and would make a great feature in any terrace. The influential Wallpaper* Design Awards ceremony from London has been running for eight years.
