Louis Vuitton and Yayoi Kusama Limited Edition Collection

Parisian fashion house Louis Vuitton‘s latest artistic collaborator is 82-year-old Japanese multimedia artist Yayoi Kusama. Together they present a limited edition collection of fashion items under the name Infinitely Kusama.

Yayoi Kusama is considered as one of the most significant and influential artists working today, known most notably for her obsession with polka dots, which she has applied to a variety of mediums. Infinitely Kusama collection includes a range of Louis Vuitton products including leather goods, ready-to-wear, accessories, shoes, watches and jewellery.

The collection clearly reflects Yayoi Kusama’s iconic dot pattern, expressed in her signature colour combinations of red and white, as well as black and yellow.

The debut of the Louis Vuitton Infinitely Kusama collection will be available from 10th July 2012 two days prior to the opening of the Yayoi Kusama’s retrospective at the Whitney Museum, New York.
