Postable Envelope Sized Table by Studio Toer

A concept design by Studio Toer have developed a concept design idea where one could potentially post a table in a small packet and the recipient assemble and use as a standard full sized table.

Titled Postable it is designed to address the contemporary internet culture through a foldable dinner-size table that can fit into a letterbox, allowing it to be purchased online and sent to directly to a customer’s home.

The modular concept is made from stainless steel and can be easily assembled from the content of a single envelope into varying sizes.

The strength of the table is debatable, but at least the concept is a step forward in minimising packaging waste.
