The seat encourages a straight posture that puts less pressure on your spine, reduces muscle and joint fatigue, and avoids creating that tale-tale hunch of when one has been sitting too long in front of a laptop, book or desk.

Ubiquity Design Studio was launched by Tim Spencer, an industrial designer-maker whose chosen style and ethos is based on simplicity and elegance via sustainability and resilience. His initial product launch with the Knelt was targeted for children.

The Knelt hopes to eliminate the “sit up straight!” mantra.
