At the Barcelona branch, on Thursday 8th November 2012, the presentation date involved the launch of the new Bang & Olufsen‘s BeoVision 11 Smart Television, an exclusive kitchen B2 by Bulthaup Criteri Studio.

BoConcept Opens a New Space in El Corte Inglés, Madrid

Today, Wednesday 19th September, BoConcept opens a new store space at the department store El Corte Ingles in Madrid. Find urban and contemporary Danish furniture and home decoration designs in the furniture section of El Corte Inglés on Calle Princesa 41.

Throughout September there will be special events for interested parties to preview their anniversary collection alongside a Danish breakfast.

The BoConcept story started back in 1952, when two gifted Danish craftsmen, Jens Ærthøj Jensen and Tage Mølholm, decided to open a furniture factory in the small town of Herning, Denmark. Their goal was not only to make great quality furniture that looked good, it was to make it functional and give good value for money.

Their vision turned BoConcept from a small furniture factory into a global retail furniture chain with more than 230 successful stores in more than 50 countries.

Gifu Lamps

Madrid-based designers María del Pilar Velasco and Pau Stephens exhibited their GIFU family of lamps at Salone del Mobile 2012.

With its exposed bulb and made of beech wood and inspired by the fauna from the Savannah, the lamps resemble a mother caring for her children.

GIFU is available in two sizes and the lamp itself can be folded and moved into different positions.
