Knotty pouffes designed by Prague based design studio Kumeko. Made from soft jersey tubes stuffed with highly resilient foam, the tubes are plaited and weaved together to create a knotted ball and a lining that is filled with polystyrene balls, the cushion adjusts nicely and moulds to your body making it extra comfortable.

The cushions are available in two sizes, the pouf was inspired by old weaving, knotting and basket-making techniques.

Designed by Spanish architect and product designer Patricia Urquiola for Gan Rugs, the Manga Collection features rugs, runners and pouffes made from 100% wool and hand made in India. The products are made from a patchwork of different design wool knits which create unique textured designs in different complementary colour ways and sizes.

Recently on the Home Couture blog we wrote about the Knitting Trends for the Modern Home and these products would fit in with this trend perfectly. The big chunky knits are perfect for lazing about on the floor.

The Slumber pouf by Aleksandra Gaca are bean bag like chairs with a woven cover reminiscent of coarse knitting. Produced by Belgian carpet maker Casalis.

Slumber Poufs spring back to their original form after being sat on thanks to a three-dimensional elastic fabric made of Kid Mohair mixed with merino wool.
